BlackFireMKX
I am interested in upgrading to heated seats and would like to use factory equipment. I am a skilled mechanic and will be doing this myself. I've done this type of stuff before, but things are not as simple as they used to be... - Has anyone done this? - What parts will I need? - What are the logistical issues? Thanks! k1200rsport
What year vehicle? By your screen name I assume it is MKX. Also everything is possible with the right amount of money. You can go to www.fordparts.com and look up the part no.'s and then get the pricing from dealer.
baum
you might need new dash bezel and climate controls. Its all one integrated unit (heated seat buttons/ climate control). Aftermarket kits are very reliable. you can get kits that are just a hi0low setting or ones that are like the VW's where they have a roller type switch and have multi settings. i have installed many of these and never seen any fail. keep in mine you will need some speciality tools to remove the fabric and to reinstall it.
