viper001
With 2 USB ports and an SD card slot I would have thought there would be a way to mass upload and download favorites in the navigation system of my 2011 Edge. Does anyone know if this is possible? I could do it with my dash mounted Garmin and it was pretty handy if you ever had to reset the system or when you bought a new one for transferring that information to the next one. Thanks in advance!

Thanks in advance! Not sure if you can do that, but if you create your favorites online, on your syncmydrive website, or using Destinations app for mobile phones, you can send them o your NAV system. The only problem is that you can download one by one only, there is no way to download them all at once.
wilsons66604
At some point I hope we can get the nav to work with the phone's contact addresses. Then you would always have your backup with you.
Victor Wolansky
I think that is possible already, but only with a few phones, I remember reading about on the manual.

I tried a windows phone that was able to transmit contact addresses to touch. The nav was still unable to use the addresses. Ford can't blame that on the phones. It's a Touch problem. I read it also. It's a feature that they hoped would work.

That is a liability.... is like saying that the car have 5 wheels and then sell it with 4 because it just didn't worked...
