yohab Posted January 10, 2011 Report Share Posted January 10, 2011 I am about to purchase an Edge SEL in Southern California. I go skiing 2 to 3 times per year (mammoth, Big Bear, etc). Should I get AWD? Putting the few times I may not have to put on chains aside, is there any other benefit of AWD in terms of handling that would make it a better and/or safer ride in SoCal? I'm going to go with the AWD---I'm tired of putting on cables to go to Mammoth or even Big Bear when we have a good snow.
