twomuchfun Posted January 5, 2011 Report Share Posted January 5, 2011 I have a new 2011 MKX and in addition to pulling to the right and the well known Sync issues i have a tic tic tic in the engine. most noticabkle when cold but still thee after it warms up. luvford Posted January 5, 2011 Report Share Posted January 5, 2011 My Edge does that too. Maybe it's a Ford thing. My Focus ZX5 made the same noise... which I never paid attention too, until my husband mentioned it. Had the Focus for almost 8 years and never had to do anything to it except routine service, tires and brakes after 80,000 miles. Post if you ever find out it something that needs to be looked at. I know that 2011 models has little different engine, but I was tolled at my dealer that that noise coming from injectors when they open and close to get fuel pass in and that normal.
