yonkerse
Hey guys, I'm new to the forum but am a recent owner of a 2008 MKX that has been rear ended. I will need a new center tail light. Being new to this vehicle, i was wondering how they are wired in since the wiring is non-existent and I will need to run some new wires. What is used within the light to get that neat look of the individual lighted lines? If someone could post some pictures of the center tail light consisting of the backing, and also with the backing removed from the lens, i would really appreciate it. Anyone have one for sale for a decent price? Thanks guys! Any help/pics are greatly appreciated! Eric
igcitng
How can there be no wiring? The bodyshop should have replaced it when it was repaired.
yonkerse
I bought it as a salvage...and im going to fix it up myself. The rest of the truck is just fine, just a little rear end damage. Already have a new bumper cover and hatch...just need the tailights and center tailight... Does anyone know if the "red lines" in the center tail light hatch are simply LED strips behind a board with slits in it? I want to do something quite unique, but trying to get knowledgeable before jumping in clueless... Thanks for help!
