richy
I'm not sure if anyone on here has been unfortunate enough to drive through the paint they use for the lines on the road, but it is very nasty stuff to remove! I recommend a product called Tarminator made by Stoner. There are other tar removers out there too. The KEY is to get it off as soon as possible. Check this out...this is a 2010 GMC Pickup that drove through fresh road paint and got it all over the side of the vehicle. The worse part is that it had cured for a MONTH prior to them bringing it to me to fix: http://www.detailingbliss.com/forum/show-shine/21344-road-paint-overspray-2010-gmc.htm
Edgieguy
Richy, Fabulous job on cleaning up that truck. Ive seen that paint damage on vehicles and never thought it could be removed once its dry. Great explanation on the procedure.
richy
Thanks Andy. I usually don't share my work from L2D over here, but I thought some people could learn by it.
