Roof rack solution for 2011 Edge with Vista Roof

Has anyone conducted research or made inquiries with companies like Thule or Yakima about installing a roof rack on a 2011 Edge with a Vista Roof.? I don't need to carry a lot of weight...just looking to carry a pair of skis! Any suggestions or ideas. Thank you

Did you do a search? As I remember someone ran a thread on it about a year ago. They were able to do it using a Yakima rack if I remember correctly. Clearly that would not be a 2011, but i dont think the roof set-up has changed

Here is the suggested set up for the Edge. I've read all of the threads and looked at both Yakima and Thule's sites. I think this set up would work with the addition of the ski/board attachment.

 

One caveat is that though this and other sites certainly include the 2011 Edge and I've seen claims that the roof contours are the same as earlier models, I haven't seen anyone yet confirm this set up works on their 2011 Edge with the Vista Roof.

Yakima's website has the 2011 Ford Edge and it comes up with the same parts as the poster above that included all the picks, he just used a different bike rack.
