Hi! Soon-to-be 2011 MKX Owner

I was involved on the Chrysler 300C forum--my last car--and found it to be very useful and informative. I am picking up my 2011 Black AWD MKX tomorrow and very excited, to say the least. I have been reading this site today, along with the online owners manual, and have found it to be full of information. For instances, I found the manual online through this site even before I get the printed copy, I read about breaking in "Black Beauty," and I attained all kinds of tips for keeping her clean. Thank you to all of you for the great information that has helped many people save time, money and energy. Keep up the great work!

Congradulations, and the best with " Black Beauty ". What options did you choose?, and if you want to let us know what you paid, vs sticker, it can help others on purchases. I would suggest putting on a coat of wax asap, I use Maguires Gold.

Thanks Joe! I have learned so much today regarding detailing. I purchased an AWD model with Rapid Spec 102A, the Limited Edition Package and the Trailer Tow Package. The MSRP was $50040 and the selling price was $46536.40, which according to my research, is $1000 over invoice. The MKX's in my area are moving fast. My dealer had two and a search for what I wanted (same options plus adaptive cruise) showed one vehicle in a 300 mile radius!

 

Can't wait to get it and play with all the technology!
