They say my system is the same as it was when I brought it in. FORD'S SYNC team: Kinda like a bunch of monkeys f#@king a football Wilson, now THERE'S a visual!! jmclark47 Posted December 8, 2010 Report Share Posted December 8, 2010 (edited) I had wondered about that. Just how special can a USB cable be? I had my vehicle in this morning for the update. I had called on Monday to confirm that the update was available for them to install and the service coordinator said it shouldn't be a problem to find it. So today, after they have had my car for 4 hours, they say they can't install it because they don't have the "special" cable! I said I thought it was just a USB cable and they said "Oh no, it's a "special" cable". Ford is shipping it out to them and I have to wait. Needless to say, I am not happy.
