Mirage52
So far I am very impressed with how my FWD Edge has handled in the snow. We got a foot here in MD yesterday and I was able to drive to and from work in the middle of the storm, and then back to work this morning on roads that were basically a sheet of ice. The Michelins that came with the car probably have a lot to do with that. That and very cautious driving. That said, I'm over this snow. Hopefully it was the last of the winter. I am ready to detail my car and get ready for the spring and summer!
macbwt
Snow tires, Snow tires, Snow tires. Nothing is better in the snow than snow tires. Those big low profiles look nice as I pass you with my snow tires.
WWWPerfA_ZN0W
How about putting some tank treads on, mac?
macbwt
Some days I wish I had tank treads. Gas mileage would suck though. My current front two Blizzaks are done. Two new tires next winter. How about putting some tank treads on, mac?
macbwt
A FWD edge with snow tires will beat an AWD Edge with all season tires every time. With my Blizzak winter tires, AWD with Traction Control shut off, I am amazed at what it will do in deep snow this winter. Tires are EVERYTHING!! Don't believe me?
