Joe Todor
Is it possible on one of the two screens on the dash to have a digital speedometer? Also, what kind of gas does it use? Like premium, etc?

tarponbeach
G Thanks for the gas info. I know, so no digital speedometer? Sadly, no...I had the option of displaying digital speed in my Mercedes ML320cdi, and I really miss it in the Edge. Hopefully, Ford will add this when they update the firmware to clean up some of Sync's bugs. Edited December 10, 2010 by tarponbeach
sjlocke
What would be the point of a digital speedometer when there is a big analog speedometer in the middle?
tarponbeach
What would be the point of a digital speedometer when there is a big analog speedometer in the middle? Digital is more accurate than analog, with respect to having not to count hash marks between the numbers printed on an analog dial. One's brain interprets a number expressed in digital format faster than having to interpret a number displayed on an analog dial.
mleber
I wouldnt be surprised if someone adds that feature in the future in the developers kit. Speed is one of the parameters that is available in the dev. kit. Hopefully they build an application with some sort of TRIP report so that you can see fuel usage, speeds, type of roads etc.....
