jsabia85 Posted November 20, 2010 Report Share Posted November 20, 2010 Does anybody have an issue when you turn on ur high beams on a 2011 edge and your hear like a knock? It's really weird, it doesn't happen whil driving or maybe it does but I don't hear it. But when idle, if I turn on the high beams I get a noticeably loud knock or tap when turning them on. Even though you don't have HID's, I would bet that Ford is using the same electro-mechanical shutter that they use on the HID's to fully open the aperture behind the lens.
