Touchscreen problem

Recommended Posts

I have had my 2011 Limited for a few days now, and I am really impressed with this ride. However, I am having a problem with the touchscreen. I have to touch the on-screen buttons right on the bottom edge or even a little below the button to get a responce, If I press in the middle of the button nothing happens. Also, about 80% of the time a swiping gesture has no effect. I took the car back to the dealer and they said they called Ford and they said it is a known problem and it is being worked on. Is anyone else seeing this problem?

that said...SYNC is SLOW!!! The Touch screen isn't an iPad/iPhone and swiping is not an option. touch the buttons and be patient. We are hoping for a software upgrade next month (Oh God please let it be next month)
