ouavi8tor
Hello, I'm new to forum, just bougth a used 07 sel with nav. My problem is that i will be driving along and the bass will just cut out on the radio. If i turn the radio off and back on it usually fixes the problem, but its been getting for frequent and turning it off and on is not working anymore. I was reading on another forum and a few other people had the same problem but no one had responded to them. I have also tried searching this forum and didnt find anything. Nay help would be great thanks.
Vandeleigh
Any update on this issue? I'm having same problem with wifes 07 SEL and it drives me crazy. I don't wanna replace the door speakers, just to find out the head unit is actually cutting the bass out. And I don't wanna replace head unit cuz we like the controls on the steering wheel and can't imagine an aftermarket head unit keeps this functionality in place. Dr Fildo
Adam Pacheco has addressed this problem on page 4 of this thread, I believe. The topic is "2007 Edge Bass Cuts Out". The problem originates at the amp on the back of the sub woofer box.
