jazzman_q
MY wife has a '10 Edge and the stereo has a Phone button on it. But when you press the button all you get is a "No Phone" message. Is there a module that has to be added? Here in the people's republic of Maryland, we have now gone to hands free cell phone use only. Can anyone give the part number, approximate cost? Thanks in advance.

I am familiar with how to do it on the 11 model with my touch, but not on the 10., but I expect there is a somewhat obvious button to press to pair a new phone. When you press the phone button now and get the no phone message is there not a option to add device or add phone?
jazzman_q
nope, no option, just the no phone message.

You could look at your phone and try to pair it to car, just as you would a bluetooth headset with the phone. Make sure car is running. If your phone does not find a bluetooth device to connect to, you likely have no bluetooth connectivity for phone in the vehicle. Next step would be to ask dealer. It is difficult to off any further advice as you have not told us what model edge, the options you do have and what kind of cell phone you are using. I tried pairing it with my iphone without success. I found an upgraded radio on ebay with dvd and Nav the seller says that it is plug n play, but don't want to risk it if it's not possible to upgrade. She needs/wants at least the hands free option, without the need for an earpiece. I want to make sure the install is a close to factory finish as possible. She picked this model, and was not into the bells and whistles like I would have if it were my choice.
