wilsons66604
I've discovered that my easy entry/exit feature will push my seat back when I stop the car. When I start the car, the seat will not move forward. It stays all the way back. I've tried changing memory settings and am able to change from 1 position to the 2 position. ...except for the part where the seat needs to be pushed forward. I know the motor to move forward works because I can move it manually

wilsons66604
I just finished pulling fuse number 7 and inserting it. That's the power seats/mirror fuse. It seems to have fixed my easy entry issue !!
wilsons66604
Out of the blue, my Easy Exit / Entry feature quit working today. WTF! I tried setting the position while on ACC mode as suggested earlier...no help. The seat moves back and never comes forward. Did I say
goatee
I really like this feature. It malfunctioned on me also, the dealer said that the power connector was loose and reconnected it. Problem solved. They didn't even wright it up

Hmmmm Mine does the same thing, BUT i have never programmed my entry key fob to the memory setting and that could be why it just stays all the way back. I dont really care because I usually leave the seat all the way back anyway. If I am on a long drive then I usually move it forward a little for comfort. I will have to crack the book or read the tricks forum again to program it. Just never find the time.

I have long legs too and didn't mind too much, but I was able to get the easy entry/exit to work when I pulled fuse 7. I have my fob programmed so that has nothing to do with it. The seat goes brain dead and has no idea about moving forward. Loose connection??? Was that FUSE #7? EDIT: Has anyone seen any service bulletins for the new Edge/MKX? wilsons66604
I've had issues in the past with Easy Exit/Entry features of the driver seat. The "module" has been replaced. A few days ago, I shut the car down and "Christine" started moving the seat forward. Smashing my fat gut into the steering wheel! I thought I was going to be killed!! I quickly jumped to safety ...whew! WTF!?!? Can I wait for the update???
