Can backup Sensor be disabled when towing?

Yes but why would you need to? It only activates when the ignition is on and the transmission is in reverse.

We have a new camper and new to backing a trailer. The beeper just gets a little obnoxious after a few tries :)

we only want it disabled when we are backing with something being towed.

Thanks.

Sorry - for some reason I thought you wanted to disable the reverse sensor while you were towing the Edge, not the other way around. My mistake.

The instructions for turning it off are in the owner's manual. You should be able to do it temporarily through the message center while you're in reverse or permanently via the setup menu but be aware older edges would not retain the setup menu setting after you restart the vehicle. Hopefully they've fixed it.
