igcitng
This just happened to me. Pull fuse # 3, check it and if it is fine put it back and then try it.

You may also want to reboot your iPod and then try again, I've found the Nanos to be more finicky than the old clunky but trusty iPod Mini that I used to have. Hold center button and "menu" at the same time for about 3-5 seconds, screen will go blank and then the apple icon will show, let go of buttons and it will take about 5-10 seconds or so to come back to main screen -- then try to connect to USB and Sync and see how it goes. rwbronco
I've got an iPhone and stream mine via bluetooth so I can't say first hand what to do with your nano but rebooting it while it's plugged in should be the first thing you do - report back with whether or not it worked
igcitng
If the reboot does not work, the fuse box is on the drivers side on the outer wall by the door hinges. Hopefully the fuse puller is there, mine was gone so I had to go get one because #3 is hard to get to and a pliers couldn't get to it. When mine said no usb I rebooted the ipod, plugged/unplugged, and even did a master reset on the Sync. Only thing that worked was pulling the fuse. igcitng
Would the manual show where the fuse box is? Yes but it is very easy to find. It is on the drivers side down toward the floor where the door and front fender meet, by the hinges you could say. There is a little door on it. Near the parking brake. rwbronco
So I have an iPad and an iPhone and the other day the bluetooth music quit working on both of them. The phone would still make calls using Sync/bluetooth but the music would not work in the "media" menu on the screen (I have nav). I would select iPad or iPhone and hit connect and it would never show the green and blue arrows letting me know it was indeed connected. I pulled Fuse #3 and waited 30 seconds or so and popped it back in. Connected right up and started playing music. I hope I don't have to do this often! Fuse box on the inside is easy to reach. It's got a hinge on the side facing you so once you get the tabs loose on the bottom just swing it towards you (might have to depress teh parking brake to let it clear). It looks a little different than the image on the fuse panel cover but they're in the same order. It comes out easy and doesn't matter if you flip it around on accident when putting it back in since a fuse works both ways.
