slt780
Hi, I have a 2008 Edge Limited FWD that is leaking transmission fluid. It seems to be coming from in behind the black plastic cover on the transmission. The vehicle has only 12,000 kilometres on it but has no warranty as it was a rebuilder. Does this sound like the seal is gone or something worse? I took it to a shop and they quoted me $800 for the repair. I'd just like to get as much information about this as possible before considering my options. Does this need to be repaired immediately? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. If you are referring to the PTU problem, that would not be it. It only happens to the all wheel drive edges.
