d-dmusic
This is one of those things that when you take it to the dealer, they'll just roll their eyes and do nothing. I can see it now. But, at 20k mileage now, my Edge AWD has an "eccentric" sound that corresponds to the rpm/rotation of the engine/wheels. Especially around 80 to 90 km per hour. It's barely there, but, I definitely can feel it. I feel like I'd like to nip this in the bud before either one of the wheels wears unevenly or before something more serious starts to occur but I have absolutely no confidence in dealership service or their "advisors." The first time I took it to the dealership for the free oil change, it took three hours. Of course, I have never gone back and I feel that this was done exactly for this purpose. What would you guys do ?
