Lex Talionis
very interesting. its kind of like a chip or a tune in a way, not sure why it wouldn't do something. the question is, is what it does that beneficial? Under their Ford section, they list "2006+", but didn't the Edge come along in 2007? Cheezy video and they never show the unit work.
sylynce
Does anybody knows about this product ? Do you think it is worth a try ? http://www.sprintbooster.ca/ Thanks The Edge wasn't around in 2006, like they indicate on the page. No real information on how it works, and the video is particularly cryptic. For almost $400, I would look elsewhere... Just my $0.

Just my $0.02 It probably works as advertised but won't deliver much real benefit - if any. All it can do is simulate you pressing the pedal more quickly - it won't bypass the computer programmed delays.
espelant
Does anybody knows about this product ? Do you think it is worth a try ? http://www.sprintbooster.ca/ Thanks I have the sprint booster in my Jetta. I think it is totally worth the money. What is does is make the vehicle react to your foot on the pedal quicker than normal. You can save your money and just mash the gas but it makes my Jetta react so quick when I step on the gas. It does nothing to add horsepower or torque to your vehicle.
rwbronco
I 100% doubt any claim that this company makes. It's like the "performance chips" available for my Lotus: http://rs4performance.com/index.php?l=product_detail&p=1723 I have been working on my car for a while and it's literally 100% impossible to be able to slap something like that on it and expect it to do anything. For that link I put just now, if you read their "How It Works"... it looks like they're saying that they're doing something to lean out to air/fuel ratio. There are a number of ways to do this externally, such as altering the signals from the MAF or O2 sensors... but my guess is it actually does nothing at all. They're counting on a placebo effect; some people will think it works because they want it think it works. It's a variable resistor and you're not going to see a lick of difference. The poster above me is BS and joined the day he posted that comment and has only made that one post. He obviously is affiliated with the sprint booster people.
