BrandmotionEng
Does anyone know why TripTunes Advanced would not be compatible with a navigation radio system? Thanks for any information that anyone could provide. The Pioneer Navigation radio in the Edge has a different layout & command sequence than the CDR & CD6 radios made for Ford by Delphi. The TripTunes Advanced was developed for the Delphi radios, and the Nav radio requires a different set of firmware than the those radios. This might be why the TT Advanced is not compatible. Brandmotion Link to Website Just introduced a Navigation compatible iPod adapter at the beginning of September. If you are interested call their sales center - (877) 276-6456 & ask about the DC PLUS for your Edge or MKX. Or you can PM me . . .

You mean this wouldn't work in the center console like ford designed? You could place the iPod in the center console if you wanted. A hole would need to be created for the connector to pass through the bottom of the bin, and the wire routing would be different than we show in the installation guide, but it is possible.
