Tdoggz28
I tried to reactivate the sirius in my 08 Edge but when I hit the Aux button i get a SAT FAULT message on the display. Was able to get the code B1342 SAT to come up but not sure were to go from there. Any one know if there is a "master reset" fot this unit. It is not a touch screen unit just regular. I can replace the sirus module if neccessary but wanted to make sure it was the problem. Any help is greatly appriecated.

Unplugging the power unit did nothing, calling sirisu did nothing, and pulling a few related fuses did not work either. Please let me know what (if anything) solved it for you. Platinum White
I had "Sat Fault" show up a while back, went to dealer and they replaced the Sirius receiver under warranty. Everything works fine now.
er65nsunny
According to the workshop manual B1342 relating to sirius is the module. The dealer will clear the DTC's and if the code shows up again the module will have to be replaced.
roady123
Is there a deductible for the warranty?
akirby
Is there a deductible for the warranty? Not for the factory warranty. If you bought an extended warranty then it depends on which option you purchased - could be $0 - $500 or more depending on the warranty. Should be in your extended warranty paperwork. roady123
Thanks - I'm at 24,000 so I'm still under the factory. I did buy the extended though -$100 deduct. Still bugs me as to why the "sat fault" came up. Any thoughts?
