mike6ds
I took my 2007 Edge to the dealer this week and let them do the TSB on the rear moonroof. Sadly, they actually made the squeak worse. After having my wife drive me around while i was in the back I found the source of the squeak. The squeak is coming from a styrofoam support piece under the corner of the headliner. Has anyone else had this issue? I'm able to put my hand against the styrofoam to get the squeak to stop. Does anyone have any ideas on how i can fix this issue? I'm thinking i can get something to wedge against it it'll fix it, but i'd like to hear other ideas first. styrofoam piece is under the circled area. Rear moonroof, passenger side, front corner
alfaromeo
I have no idea. My vehicle is still on the way to me. At least, we can talk with dealer technicians.

livinonthedge
Can it be glued down with a automotive adhesive?

mike6ds
Can it be glued down with a automotive adhesive? I would be a little scared to do so since I can't really see but only feel where the issue is.
DJ Nap
My '07 has recently started to squeak bad, I assumed it was the glass against rubber noise, but this makes more sense. I'll take a peek tomorrow. Thanks!
CDS
My '07 has recently started to squeak bad, I assumed it was the glass against rubber noise, but this makes more sense. I'll take a peek tomorrow. Thanks! My 2010 is squeaking as well.. It seems that when I open the sunroof it stops though. So I am wondering if it is in fact the rear sunroof as you guys have stated? Seems that it should be related to the front sunroof? Anyone else have the same issue? I will have a look at the Styrofoam that you mentioned as well. thanks... Rasurec
I see this post is pretty old, but I have the exact same squeaking issue (also related to the Styrofoam block found at the front passenger side of the rear moon-roof). It seems to get worse as the Texas days heat up- an annoying squeak, squeak, squeak unless you're on the absolute smoothest of roads. Pushing up on the headliner near the corner of the moon-roof halts the squeak. Before I MacGyver a repair, did anyone else find an acceptable solution? And is this directly related to the much-mentioned BAMR trim ring rattle? I don't notice a rattle, just the squeaky Styrofoam. 2008 Edge Limited
