GSEdge
Hi all, 3rd post. 2010 Edge SEL. Have and like Sirius, but there are times when I do not get reception, instead I get "acquiring signal" and nothing. This happens sometimes after I drive the car home, with Sirius working, then park and go out 1/2 hr later and no signal. I turn the unit off, wait a minute, turn it on, and still no signal. Then 10 minutes down the road, I get a signal. It's happened about a dozen times so far, and I cannot see any obstructions to signal reception. Does this sound like the radio/head unit, or it there a signal issue? Thx
beston38st
If there aren't any obstructions it could be a bad antenna or a problem with the Sirius tuner. I have an 08 and the tuner is located in the spare tire wheel well. It's mounted on the front wall of the well towards the bumper. I'd check there first and make sure all connections are tight. I did have to have mine replaced for the same thing (not acquiring a signal) but it was easy and didn't involve removing the head unit or anything like that. Hi all, 3rd post. 2010 Edge SEL.
