kenp2600
This is my first post. I don't yet have my Edge, but hope to have a black 2010 Edge Sport soon. My dealer has found a 2010 Edge Sport at another dealer that he can get for me that has all the options I want except the factory headrest DVD players. He has agreed to order the parts and install them if it is a simple install. However, his service manager has never done one, and isn't sure how the power works. For the Sport models without factory installed DVD, is the wiring already done, or is it a simple plug in job? If I can get confirmation on this, he can get my Edge ordered. It has been taking him a while to figure this out. Thanks all.
Lex Talionis
wait for others to chime in, but in earlier models, like 07-08 that did not come with them, wiring was not in place. so, those that bought them after the fact had to wire them up themselves. My guess and "assumption" would be the same for a 2010, but not 100% sure.
securinu
no it isnt. It is a dealer installed item so no prewire. you will only find prewire if it is a factory option. Also with cost so tight these days if it isnt optioned in the build the harness will not have the wires there.
