Seriously - you can go to a 255 or 265 size - you would just need to go to a 50 or 55 series to keep the overall size the same. Do a google search for tire diameter calculators and you can find a 50 or 55 series size with close to the same circumference. Just curious - why do you want wider tires? This means that you have a recommended 8.83" of actual tire width to play with. This can vary between manufacturers, but in most cases the widest safely you could go on a stock rim is 255. If you can find a shop willing to do it, you could conceivably go wider, but you'd be putting your safety at risk and most likey end up comprising the ride and handling.
