4DOOR2NV
Has anyone put weathertech digital fit mats and cargo mat in their Edge? If so how do they fit? Any issues?

bender
I've got all the mats weathertech offers. They fit great except for one of them, the front passenger mat tends to bulge away from the door sill some. It's not much but enough to bother me, I've also noticed it in pictures of other Edges with the Weathertechs. That being said I would still highly recommend them. GotTheEdge
Has anyone put weathertech digital fit mats and cargo mat in their Edge? If so how do they fit? Any issues? I have the cargo mat, and it fits like a glove. Generaly, all WeatherTech products fit great, with the exception of their stone and bug deflector, which I had alot of trouble with. mathieurochette
Does anybody know the cheapest place to order these in Canada like Ebay, Direct, 3rd party? Matt Rochette
danielPP
WeatherTech makes excellent and are very well made. However if you are looking for the highest quality carpet mats, look no further than Posh Pile. I did some free lance work for them in the past by taking photos in several vehicles and they fit the Edge very well (photo link below). Here's a quote on the organizations from a Posh Pile own on the their facebook page: “These are the best Car Mats on the Market! They are luxurious, thick, extremely well made and worth double the price EASILY. Simply the Best! Thank You Posh Pile!” - Daniel J. McGinnity Click here to see photos in the Ford Edge (its mislabeled, but its the edge) They are modestly priced, only $51.95 on the ebay store. Website is www.poshpile.com. Thank you all! JOEHIO
They look good, but do they cover a larger area than the original mats?

1duFos
I have a 2010 and have the digital fit mats in the fronts only, great fit and protection but my only complaint is the area around the dead peddle, the mat doesn't go high enough to completely cover the area. When I had the vehicle in for an oil change who ever drove it left a oil-greasy foot print on my light carpet just above the mat on the dead peddle area. If I buy another Edge I will be looking at Husky, better protection? Pic link below, You can just see the edge of the floor mat to the right in the pic. Not sure how the 2011 mats fit-protect the same area http://tinypic.com/view.php?pic=sdmuz7&s=7 Attachment shows how the mat fits at the dead peddle area Edited July 3, 2011 by 1duFos
ladybell
The only accessory I really wanted was the all weather mats!!! My husband came home with the husky liners and they fit is perfect. The color match up for the tan is great and not distracting and gets the job done. I was torn between the weather techs and the husky liners. Like what I got!! Complete coverage and they stay in place. The material has an embossed diamond plate look to it.

I've had WeatherTechs in the past and know that they are made of a fairly stiff plastic. Are your Huskys fairly stiff? Do they fit like the WeatherTechs that are pictured in this thread? Yes, Husky front's floor mats cover just like the WeatherTechs. I purchased the Huskys because I got tired of waiting on the WeatherTechs during our snowy months. Myfordedge08
Hey that looks better than the oem one I just bought today. Should of spent the extra money instead of buying oem. How much? Is it fairly thick material? I wouldn't recomend going to the dealer. I can post pics if anyone wants em to compare.
Myfordedge08
I'm talking about the cargo liner. Got WT for front and back:)
ladybell
I got the rear cargo liner for $60 at a local retailer and they had it in stock. If you check with your local retailers that sell the husky liners or weather tech they may also have it in stock or can order it in. Since the interior is two tone, we had ordered the black to off set all the tan but they misplaced one of the set and couldn't find it, and while they were looking my husband asked if they had the tan in stock and they said they kept plenty of that color so they tried it and he liked it better and that is what we bought. Its stiff material but not too heavy like some rubber type mats. The liner sides/lip provide better liquid containment. The underneath side has those molded pegs like that on a carpet protector for an office area plastic mat you would use under an office chair. The material is thick but lightweight and holds its shape in and out of the vehicle. You can always check autoanything.com too I think they may also sell the husky liners. hunter306
I just got the WeatherTech cargo liner, and have to admit-- I'm glad I didn't pay any more than 95 bux for it. It fits, and looks nice, but the rubber material is alot thinner than I expected. We had an older WeatherTech in a family envoy and the difference in quality is pretty significant. Was hoping for a heavier duty rubber for this price. Fit however is second to none, perfect -- PERFECT-- fit.
