jboozell
I have a 2008 Edge Limited. It's loaded. I was using my thumb drive for listening to my music - about 27 GB worth. I took the thumb drive out and took off all of the preloaded crap that comes already on it and added more music - I now have about 30 GB of music on my thumb drive. This all copied from my own CD's and it worked fine before my changes. Now the system doesn't recognize the thumb drive when put into the USB port. Any advice or pointers out there? Lex Talionis
are you sure the system did not set the default "User Device" back to BTST and away from USB. this is common.

igcitng
What 'preloaded crap' did you remove? You may have erased files or drivers.

USB, no drivers needed on the drive itself. that is just 1 beauty of a USB drive. often, these thumb drives come with preloaded junk like apps or backup software or files if formatted as windows drive.
