edgeofsanity
Hey Edgers. I have a 2010 black Edge Limited with the camel leather interior. I am wondering if any of you have suggestions for rear and front bumper guards. I live in Brooklyn and parking is limited to the streets and avenues. One of the assumed costs of living in the city is to end up with dinged bumpers. Suggestions and links? Thanks in advance. Also, I wanted to get the cargo cover, the thing that looks like the shade. My theory is out of sight, out of mind. My only problem is the Edge that I got came with the Cargo Pack vs. the Cargo Accessory Pack. The Cargo Pack is the auto lift gate and some sectionalized storage under the rear cargo area around the donut... mmmm donuts... sorry I had a JD moment. My question is maybe two fold: (1) for those of you that have the cargo cover, do you have special brackets to attach it, and/or how does it attach at the base and where does it attach when you pull it out to cover the cargo area. (2) has anyone added this feature post-purchase and did you need to get special brackets etc.? Final note: I know this is kind of a gripe but when you try to figure out what packages are for the cargo area on Ford's website, it's difficult at best. in fact the package that I got, Cargo Pack is $555 but you can't build a custom Edge with that feature on their site. It's either the whole Cargo Package which runs $700-ish and change or the Cargo Accessory Pack. It's all very confusing and even my sales person, who by the way was a great guy (meaning I in no way think that he deceived me), was confused about what came with what. That's it. Thoughts, ideas, and suggestions are what I'm looking for. Again, thanks in advance. Matthew
