mathieurochette
Does anyone know how the edge tail lights are put together if they are glued or mechanically fastened i.e screws, clips.
Platinum White
I think the assembly is glued, as in melted together. IF you could break all of the MELT points you could get it apart. Super Glue could assist in re-assembly. Why do you want to separate it? GOOD LUCK Edited May 21, 2010 by Platinum White
MOFSTEEL
You could bake them at a low temp to break the seal. Use epoxy to reseal them properly.

I am currently checking to see if ford will sell the black part inside the tail light rather then paint it. However can you tell me if you did it and what you used? If you have any pictures id be greatful.

smoke89
just fyi i did this to the headlights of my camaro and it will dim your light pretty bad if you paint them and also make sure you seal them properly otherwise you just end up with really ugly lights.
