rathump
I've installed a bicycle rack on my 2010 Edge trailer hitch and of course the reverse sensors "see" the rack and think I'm backing up into it. I've disabled the sensors but wondered if there was any work around?
igcitng
If there is anything around them it will pick it up. Mine beep as I pull out of the garage because it picks up the garage door track as I roll by.

The first few days or so we had it both the wife and I would always stop thinking we left something sitting behind the car. The first few days or so we had it both the wife and I would always stop thinking we left something sitting behind the car. I have to remind myself not to get to comfortable with the fact that the beeps are always the garage and not something else. I noticed that it picks up curbs too, goes off when I have to back up close to an island in the parking lot at work to get out of a spot.
