Batman429
I just purchased a 2010 Edge SEL with the Sync upgraded interior. (its being built, delivery in about 8 weeks). Can anyone give a breakdown of the controls on the steering wheel and what the 3 buttons on the upper left side of the center console actually do. I have the normal radio installed and it has sync. I want to put in an aftermarket (avic) nav system. I would like to weigh the factory options against an aftermarket. Any advice would be appreciated. This is my first attempt at modifying a car with sync. My main questions are: Will I be able to utilize the center console USB and AUX connections with A/M Nav? Which wheel buttons will become useless? Are any other computer functions run through the radio (climate, milage, etc)? I have a Pioneer Avic that has bluetooth, nav, DVD, ipod, SD, etc... so I don't NEED any of the sync options, but I don't want to mess up additional functions or connections by adding it. Thanks in advance.
