Afermarket Sync

I posted this topic yesterday in the welcome area. I'm posting it again in this section, that I think is the right one.

 

I bought my 2010 Edge SEL in Monterrey, Mexico without the Sync accesory. For Mexico just offer it with the Limited and Sport models. Does anyone know if it can be installed on the SEL? Is there any any recomendations for installing it or any other similar aftermarket product?

If your looking for just the ipod and bluetooth, just buy an aftermarket radio with those built in. You can get many different aftermarket radios with dvd and gps with bluetooth and ipod control for starting about 500

 

To add sync to a vehicle without it there is a lot to do. first off the sync module itself, the steering wheel controls, then you will need the clock spring, then the installation for all, the mic,... lots of misc junk too. the factory radio that has sync functions in it.

Thanks for your comments. I think the factory radio is the same as the ones used in models with sync. The steering wheel controls are different though. They don't include the voice/phone button.
