Voyager
Hi Does anyone know if sync can be installed on a 2010 Edge SEL bought without this accesory? Is there any any recomendations for installing it? Thanks.
igcitng
I did not realize that any of the newer Edge's would be built without it. I am surprised. Sync cannot be put in but Ford makes an aftermarket bluetooth system.

I bought mine in Monterrey, México and Ford Mexico just offer this accesory in the Limited and Sport models, not for the SEL model. Can you tell me more about the Ford aftermarket bluetooth system you mention?

Can you tell me more about the Ford aftermarket bluetooth system you mention? I do not know much about it. I researched the same thing last year while shopping for my Edge and I remember a thread on this forum about it. I do know it is not cheap and lots of wires. If it were me, I would buy a cordless bluetooth speakerphone unit that hangs on the visor. You recharge it like a cell phone and you do not have to tear apart your truck to put it in. One push answers the phone. There are tons of brands, you can get a really good one for around $100.00. Consumer reports and reviews on retail sites would be a great way to find the best one. Amazon.com would be a good source. http://www.amazon.com/Jabra-Cruiser-Bluetooth-Car-Speakerphone/dp/B002PY7P2U/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&s=wireless&qid=1271272441&sr=1-3 Here is an example of a speakerphone. I love Jabra products. I recently got a Jabra Stone ear bluetooth, great sound.
