ramonc
I just got a new 2010 Edge for my wife. After a couple of short drives, she loved it, and we got it! It is a great vehicle. However, while driving long distances, she gets neck and back pain. She can't get a comfortable position because of pedal reach and that tilted headrest. Anybody has any experience or recommendations with pedal vendors through the internet? Also, I need to replace that inclined headrest by one that is flatter. Where can I get one that fits? Thanks, with only these two modifications this is going to be a perfect car.

I am 5'6" and the headrest pushed all the way down is perfect for me, my head rests on the flat part just fine. She may have the seat back too upright, you should not sit straight up but at a slight incline. Sitting straight up will definitely cause neck pain. Also, the steering wheel moves in and out and if the seat is at a slight incline she could probobly move the seat forward a bit more to reach the pedals. akirby
You can also replace the headrests with older models - I've heard the older Taurus headrests work but not 100% sure. Or have them modified by an upholstery shop.
