annie
We have a new 2010 Ford Edge and really like it, BUT it has failed to start approximately 8 different times. The first time, we boosted it and just thought a battery cell was weak. Didn't fix it. We can start it, drive for several days and it is fine. Then you will drive it someplace thinking you are okay, try to start it and nothing! We have had it to the dealer for the third time (it is there now) and they say the computer shows absolutely nothing is wrong with either the battery or the system. We are really frustrated. Can anyone throw any light on this situation?

Dealer had it towed to their shop, replaced the battery and have had no problems and it's been 2 years. Take your Edge to a different dealer.
