drgnhurt
I'd been searching the forum/web and I couldn't find anything that have a clear instruction on how to take off the splash guard... to replace the fog lights.... or what are the other options to replace the fog lights (bulbs)... on an 08 edge... thanks... sabtaj1
I installed HID's with the slim ballasts on my fogs. On the drivers side I was able to do it all through the top under the hood. Has a pretty good open area to reach down to get to it. The passengers side was harder, I ended up taking out about 4-5 screws out of the inner fender well and going though there to install the ballast and bulb. It was too cold for me to rip er all apart. LOL.
Lex Talionis
IIRC, when I did mine, there are just simple screws holding it on... removed a few of the screws and folded/bent back the splash guard just enough to get it, force hand up into that tiny space. it is a total PITA install and takes 5x longer than simple HL bulbs. I have an '08 and from what I recall, going through the top was just not possible or feasible, through the bottom up is the way to do it. remove a few screws to get access. drgnhurt
those are 10x easier and take minutes to swap all 6 bulbs Thanks Lex. By the way, which ebay seller did you get your plunger switch from? I've been searching ebay and couldn't find anything similar.
