SimplyBao
Ok, I think I bought something too quickly before thinking, LOL. I just bought the factory subwoofer enclosure (and sub). I've got an SEL without the audiophile setup. So, my question is, I know I can just screw it in there, but what about the trim panel that installs over it? I know with the factory setup, that cubby is not there and there is speaker grill cloth there. Has anyone added a sub to an edge without the sub and what have you done? Any suggestions? bigphilly14
Did it come with the factory amplifier?
SimplyBao
Did it come with the factory amplifier? No, I didn't get the amp because I was planning on replacing the stock sub with a shallow mount 8" and running a larger amp with it. I just don't know what to do with the panel that covers it. SimplyBao
Good call. That cardboard cone they call a sub didn't have much of an impact on my the music. I still need to figure out how to cover up the cubby and leave it still looking good. I don't want it to stick out like a sore thumb. I've been checking junk yards but no one around here an edge in their yards.
