kempie
Why did you use 10w30 when Ford calls for 5w20? I understand that your post was an ad for Amsoil oil business, but why not use the recommended viscosity?
ThinLine
Using 10W-30 will not only kill your gas mileage but will not effectively lubricate the motor at start up or at full operating temp. YOur warranty can and will be voided on engine related repairs by ford. The only acceptable viscositys are 5W-20 and 0W-20. Going with a thicker oil than recommended is not wise.
