saisubr
I have just bought a 2nd hand 2008 Limited Edge. But, now when i tried to adjust the volume/cruise controls, the buttons are not working. Is there any switch i need to turn it on to activate the same. It would be better if anyone of you can help me in this. I am not sure how to activate the steering controls. Thanks
feelin edgy
There is no switch that needs to be turned on. Is it possible that the factory radio has been replaced with something aftermarket? That can kill the steering wheel controls if not done correctly. akirby
If none of the steering wheel functions are working or if they're working erratically then it could be the clockspring (makes the electrical connection between the steering wheel and the car). saisubr
Thanks.. The left hand side of the steeting wheel controls (Cruise control) works fine, whereas the right side controls (volume, media buttons) are not working. I feel the music system is not factory fitted. I will try to take the same to Ford showroom and try to find out. Is there any other way i can solve this, Please let me know Regards Sai If none of the steering wheel functions are working or if they're working erratically then it could be the clockspring (makes the electrical connection between the steering wheel and the car).
