klc317
Thought I'd throw in some videos of the neat stuff on these. Coming to the Edge too.... MyLincoln Touch system, awesome! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gSsfkEdycAY
MKX2007
I noted in one of the videos that the new engine is mentioned, but they won't allow anyone to see it yet. Could it be that the 3.5 EcoBoost is really what's hiding under the hood?

MKX2007
No - it's the new 3.7L 305 hp V6. Is there any reason they feel the need to keep it under wraps? The woman in the video said it was a 3.7, but they wern't allowed to see it.

igcitng
I like the new back end and new wheels, not so much the front end. The electronics are outstanding. Wild stuff. Will Edge be seeing the same electronics, and also will it have the more powerful engine or is this an option? I am going to save my pennies for a 2011. Very cool. It will have the same user interface (called My Ford Touch) but I don't think it gets the new engine. It will get a 2.0L Ecoboost 4 cylinder engine putting out approximately 240 hp but getting much better fuel economy than the current V6. S281ETT
Ford is doing a great job with the edge/MKX in my opinion.

bbf2530
So the Edge Sport does get the 305 hp engine! Hi Allen. :D Also, not sure if you noticed, but according to one of "Staff's" other threads, the 3.5L also got a horsepower bump to 285. Here is a copy and paste (hope it is not a typo): "The 3.5-liter V-6 produces 285 horsepower and 253 ft.-lb. of torque while the 3.7-liter V-6 delivers 305 horsepower and 280 ft.-lb. of torque." Also good news! Good luck. :beerchug:
akirby
Yep - saw that too. I suspect that will also find it's way into the other 3.5L applications.
