EdgeDog
Anyone else have this problem? The problem is right where the pass. windshield wiper ends in movement on the drivers side, when its misting out or snow, it catches all the salt and mist and leaves a visible line right in my view, compared to the rest of the windshield..i have to constantly wash the matter off as it is in my view.. its a visible line only seen when wet..dry is perfect and cant see it..i have tried buffing it off but to no avail...any good suggestions on how to get rid of it? Danimal
I would guess that the windshield needs to be polished to remove this issue. There are many polishes on the market for windshields (no joke!) but I've heard good results about Griot's Garage's polish. You may also be able to use a windshield specific clay bar product such as this one also made by Griot's. I'm not affiliated with Griots...just a satisfied customer. Ā Thanks, Ā Dan
Platinum White
I use Rain-X and after a few wipes I have a "debris" line also. I try to be patient and refrain from using wipers as long as I safely can. The Rain-X also helps the windshield shed ice and snow at 7500' in New Mexico. Slick
Yep, I have the same issue too & also put Rain-X on my windshield.... Was told the line is because I put the Rain-X on it... I love how Rain-X works getting the rain to bead off, but that line across the driver's side is distracting...
