wpack98
I was planning of ordering a new IKT key from eBay and programming it myself. Although the manual states that you must have 2 working keys to program an extra key. Is there a procedure for programming a new key when only 1 working key exists? securinu
yes go to the dealer and pay them to hook it up to there computer and program the new key . there is no other way for your protection , so that a parking garage or repair shop cant copy the key. (In case you ever loose one you can always go the eBay route and then program the key yourself. Now If we loose booth keys...
baum
Also look into a locksmith. A good one will have the hand held programmer to do it also. Sometimes they are cheaper and they may come to you (or give you a discount since you can still go to them). I have dont it this way before.
