dogfish2010
I'm moving a 52" boxed LCD tv, the box measures 138cm x 90cm x 38cm (55" x 36" x 15"). A friend with a 2008 Edge has offered to move it with me but I am sceptical that I could get it in. It's currently on the 31st floor so would rather not just do a trial and error approach! Will it fit in? Thanks

Will it fit in? Thanks I' ve had sheets of plywood larger than 36" X 55" in the back of my Edge, so you should be fine.
akirby
I brought home a 52" Sony LCD a couple of months ago - no problem.

Will it fit in? Thanks It should fit. Your main concern is the height. Measure the height of the TV and the Height of you Edge's cargo space. If you have clearance, then you should be fine. Also FYI do not lay the TV flat or on the side. Its best to transport LCD and Plasma vertically.

dogfish2010
Thanks for all your input, it's only a short journey but I do think it will have to be on its side, I'm thinking it should fit in the Edge from your posts, I doubt a Sharp box is much different to a Sony either, fingers crossed.
