95f150
Hello, Bought my wife an 08 edge ltd awd. Noticed we cannot get any air to blow in the back vents for the kids in the back. Prettydarn sure where not missing anything up front to control the back, or maybee we are? If you turn the blower fan on does it automatically blow in the back? Thanks, Rob
kempie
If I remember right, the air only goes to the rear if the front dash vents (maby defrost also) are in use. So, floor heat only = no rear air.
ablb
We put ours on Mix, floor and dash. Then manually close the dash vents, works just ok nothing great . ab
bbf2530
Hi 95f150. :D As the Owners Maual explains, you get heat through the rear seat floor vents three ways: 1 - Set the system to distribute air through the front windshield defroster and floor vents. 2 - Set the system to distribute air through the floor vents. 3 - Set the system to distribute air through the dash registers and the floor vents. So essentially, any setting that has the front floor vents involved also enables the rear seat floor vents. If yours is not working that way, you may need to visit the Dealer for diagnosis and service. Good luck. :beerchug:
kempie
OK...There are rear console (high) vents and rear floor (low) vents. If you have it set on any floor setting for the front there will be air to the rear floor vents. Dash vents in use & rear console vents get air also. I didnt realize there were rear floor vents also. (never sat back there) Dress the kids warm, layers ect..........
