jerrypare
HEEELLLPPPP! I just got through installing the factory roof rack with cross bars and there is not enough distance between the crossbars to accomodate my ski bindings when I try to mount them in my Thule ski racks. Why in the hell would Ford design the racks this way. Ridiculous!! Should I return them and go with aftermarket or what.

You have the factory rack, so you will have to work around this or try another route. See what I did . . . http://www.fordedgeforum.com/index.php?sho...;hl=bamr+yakima Edited December 31, 2009 by bobbyz95
bmitchell4
I would attempt to make some kind of bracket or adapter. I like the factory rails they give a clean look and don't stick up as high or out as much as the aftermarket ones.
