ThinLine
My BAMR as it is closing is very jerky. Does not do it all the time. Had it in dealer for other issues and told them that it was closing very slow......much slower than it did...and they said they tested closing speed/time with another '08 and said it was fine. I checked the tracks and has alot of lithium grease. Any suggestions how to cure the jerkiness....as the dealer seems to want to do nothing about it. TerryTwoUtes
Do you live where it gets very cold? Could be that you have grease that is almost solid and causing the jerking. Of course when the dealer compared in the service bay it is working fine, as it is not very cold temps. That is my $.02 as to your problem. ThinLine
I hear ya, or maybe they didnt test it at all and blew it off. The grease seemed very pliable but it is cold .....but it never has done this before...I have an '08. Now I have a new problem with the rear wiper making horrible squeaking noises when it wipes....and no it is not the blade noise on the glass...it is coming from the motor. Back to the dealer.
