BlkOnBlk
I am posting this because I looked all over the net for help and couldn't find it. For anyone that is planning on installing a aftermarket headunit and they want to retain the steering wheel controls you will need the PAC SWI-PS. The instructions are good but they don't say you need to pay attention to the resistor that you use. You get a bunch in the bag and if you are not experienced with resistors like me you make think they are all the same. For the EDGE and MKZ you need to use the 100 ohm resistor which is brown, black, brown. Hope this helps because it took me a whole day to figure this out. Also if you are installing your own headunit the FORDAH module makes this super easy for even the novice diyer
baum
Just to let you know that if you dont have the Nav screen you dont need the FORDAH, you can use just a plain ford wire harness. The only control you will loose is the dimmer for the lights.
securinu
or you go to the light wire on the tracition control pod and get it there.
