OK this may be normal but not too sure. Bought the wife a used 08 edge and when we put it into PARK on our inclined driveway, it falls back 1/2 a foot or so till it stops. I also had it in the garage in park and i can push it (like its in neutral) about 1/2 a foot till it stops. This normal? Its an AWD. Thanks, makes me wonder if something wrong or not.

Yes it's normal. You should always use the parking brake when parking on an incline (I use mine 100% of the time no matter what). The transmission is not designed to hold the vehicle on an incline. It uses a pawl similar to sticking a broomstick into a bicycle wheel which explains why it can be hard to get the transmission out of park sometimes.

If you engage the parking brake before letting off the regular brake or even before shifting into park it will work much better and be much safer.
